In this dynamic 7-unit course, students explore the journey from script to stage, learning how to analyse dramatic texts and bring them to life through performance. Blending literature, theatre, and creative collaboration, students will gain a deeper understanding of character, theme, structure, and voice while building confidence, communication skills, and interpretive insight.

Step onto the world stage in this 7-unit journey through diverse performance traditions that span continents and cultures. From Japanese Noh to Nigerian Yoruba theatre, Brazilian Theatre of the Oppressed to Russian puppetry, students will explore how communities across the globe use theatre to celebrate, question, remember, and transform.
Each unit weaves together dramatic arts with geography and history, helping students understand not just how these traditions are performed—but why they emerged, who they serve, and how they connect to place, power, and people.
Launching in August 2026.
This 7-unit course invites students to move from onstage to behind the scenes as they explore the art of theatrical direction. Students will learn how directors shape meaning, movement, and mood on stage. From casting to blocking to vision boards, Directing for Young Creatives gives students the tools to bring their ideas to life—and to lead with clarity, curiosity, and collaboration.
Whether working with actors, building a rehearsal plan, or reimagining a scene from Shakespeare in a modern setting, students will discover that directing isn’t just about telling people what to do—it’s about guiding a shared vision from the page to the stage.
Launching in August 2026.
Every great play begins with a story only you can tell. In this 7-unit course, students will learn the art and craft of playwriting—how to shape characters, build dialogue, structure scenes, and create stories that come alive in performance. Blending creative writing with theatrical thinking, this course helps students transform their ideas into scripts ready for the stage.
Students will explore how plays work from the inside out—and write their own original short play or scene by the end of the course.

Drama education fosters creative thinking and divergent problem-solving, allowing children to explore multiple outcomes and original ideas. Pretend play and imaginative theatre activities boost creativity, cognitive flexibility, and imagination-development in children. Further, through theatre, children become comfortable voicing their creative ideas to others.
Theatre requires stepping into different characters’ shoes, helping children understand perspectives and emotions beyond their own. This process supports empathy, compassion, and emotional awareness. Further, applied theatre has been used by Dr Alex Cahill to support her work in empathy training and building compassionate networks for bereaved children.
Research shows that participating in theatre helps children overcome performance anxiety, build public‑speaking skills, and learn to think on their feet. An ongoing Royal Shakespeare Company project in primary schools improved children’s language complexity, vocabulary, and confidence with speaking and writing by over 20%.
Theatre is a real-world exercise in collaboration and responsibility, requiring teamwork, active listening, role-sharing, individual responsibility and time management. Drama-based learning programs consistently show that students develop stronger social skills as they learn to work together, communicate effectively, and solve problems.
With over 15 years of experience as a university theatre professor, director, and applied theatre practitioner, I’ve spent my career bringing stories to life and designing meaningful, creative curricula.
Now a homeschooling mother of five, I’m passionate about sharing the timeless beauty of theatre—its craft, wonder, and human connection—without the noise and mess of today’s theatre culture.

These courses are created for children age 7-18, with separate student workbooks: one for grades 3-6; one for grades 7-9; one for grades 9-12. Parents can choose the workbook that fits best at checkout—or grab all at a discounted bundle rate and teach all your children together!
Yes. We’re a Christian family, and some lessons include faith-based reflections or creative activities rooted in Scripture. That said, these faith lessons are clearly marked and optional, so families from all backgrounds can use the courses comfortably.
We don’t use generic school skits and scripts. Our scripts are adapted from classic theatre—like Shakespeare and Greek drama—to be age-appropriate, engaging, and full of substance, while staying true to the original spirit of the story and allowing students to engage and interact with classical texts.
Each course comes with weekly video lessons, a parent guide, your choice of student workbook, printable scripts, creative theatre projects, and lifetime access. As part of the pre-launch, you’ll also receive a discount on future courses.
When you join during the pre-launch, you’ll lock in exclusive pricing and bonuses before the full course is released. Units 1 and 2 of Course 1 will be available at the end of September, and the remaining units will be drip-released every 4 weeks after that. Course 2, Units 1 and 2 will be available in January 2026. You’ll get an email when each new unit drops, so you can pace your learning with confidence!
While the courses are self-paced and flexible, it is advisable that students take Courses 1 and 2 before moving on to the others. These first two courses introduce key vocabulary, concepts, and foundational ideas that are built upon in the later courses. Taking them in sequence helps ensure a smoother and more coherent learning experience. After completing Course 2, families are free to choose any of the remaining courses and take them in any order they prefer.
Each course is designed to take approximately 25 weeks. The course is divided into 7 units, with 2 to 4 lessons per unit, and each lesson is intended to take about one week. However, because the courses are entirely self-paced, families are free to move through the material as quickly or as slowly as they prefer.
